Costs for the Season
If you make the team, here are some expenses to prepare for:
1) Shoes. It is good to start the year with a good pair of running shoes (not tennis shoes, walking shoes, sandels, spikes or cross trainers... but running shoes). These can range anywhere from $40-$80, depending on the make & model. We will be having a day right after tryouts where anyone can go to the Dick's Sporting Goods @ Briarcreek, get fitted for shoes and receive a 15% coupon off their purchase.
2) Track Appearal. There will be a track t-shirt, hoodie, and sweatshirt offered this year (see below). Everyone will be required to purchase the t-shirt, while the others are optional but highly recommended. The t-shirt will be around $16, while purchasing the "whole package" will cost around $60. Please have planned out what you would buy, so that when the team is announced, we can get the order in quickly, to hopefully have our order in close to our first meet. More purchasing information to follow...

3) Donations. There is a long list of items that are needed for the season (additional shot puts, medicine balls, plyometric boxes, etc). Unfortunately, all of our needs cannot be met from just the athletic department's budget. Any donations to the LMAC will help in the purchasing of these materials, which will allow the coaches to provide higher quality training for our athletes. A "wish list" will be posted shortly.
